GRANTSNRC-Colorado has two types of grants available.
Roots to Sustainability Microgrants: Grants of up to $250 are available to Colorado residents to encourage communities to work collectively on projects that lead to greener and more sustainable consumer practices and lifestyles. Denver Neighborhood Small Grants Program: NRC-Colorado administers this program that strives to increase the sense of community within targeted neighborhoods by awarding grant funds of $1,000 or less for resident-initiated projects that address neighborhood-related issues.
Technical assistance is also available to resident groups developing and implementing community improvement projects in targeted neighborhoods.
Groups of residents or organizations from the following neighborhoods can apply: Sunnyside, Globeville, Elyria-Swansea, Clayton, Skyland, Curtis Park, East Colfax, North Capitol Hill, Chaffee Park, Whittier, Northeast Park Hill, Cole, Five Points, Jefferson Park, Sun Valley, Valverde, Baker, Westwood, Villa Park, Athmar Park, Barnum, Barnum West, Highland, Montclair, Montbello, and La Alma/Lincoln Park.
