Organize. As a neighborhood resident, there are several ways in which you can participate:
Organize a Block Party: Block parties are a great way for neighbors to meet and create long lasting relationships. They may be organized around holidays or to address an issue affecting the neighborhood. Click here for more information about how NRC-Colorado can help you plan an event.
Complete a Block Map: Block maps are a valuable tool that encourages neighbors to get to know each other by sharing important or useful information. Click here to access NRC-Colorado’s block map.
Develop a Block Project: Block projects are another way in which neighbors can work together to address an issue affecting the neighborhood. Click here for more information about how NRC-Colorado can help you plan a block project.
Volunteer. Interested in giving back to the community? Volunteer with NRC-Colorado or another community organization:
Office Help: NRC-Colorado is currently seeking for volunteers to assist in the office. Contact Sarah at 303-477-0023 or for more information.
Join an NRC-Colorado Program Area Group: If you have 1-2 hours per month available, consider joining Program Area Group to provide NRC-Colorado with community input and expand Good Neighboring, Neighborhood Liaision, Livable Communities, and Community Building programming.
Staff an Event: Check out NRC-Colorado’s partner’s calendar here to find volunteer opportunities.
