How can NRC help me if I am having a problem in my neighborhood?

NRC’s mission is to work with people who care about Colorado’s neighborhoods to build stronger, safer communities. NRC has been working to build strong safe communities for over 15 years. Technical assistance is provided, often at no charge, has increased leadership capacity and community efforts throughout the Metro area and elsewhere in Colorado. What are Neighborhood Liaisons?
Neighborhood Liaisons (NL) are employees or volunteers of local government or nonprofits that interact or collaborate with neighborhoods or the community at large. More specifically Neighborhood Liaisons support collaboration, education, and capacity building with their neighborhood or community partners. What are Neighborhood Liaison Forums?
Neighborhood Liaison Forums (NLF) are regular meetings or trainings to support Neighborhood Liaisons (NL). NLFs are every other month and liaisons learn about each others programs and more about topics that support their work in neighborhoods and the greater community. NRC Tip Sheets are designed to be a quick and easy reference to deal with some of the most common problems that neighborhood and other organizations deal with. NRC has tip sheets that cover the following topics: Motivating People, Communications, Creating Partnerships with Local Businesses, Block Organizing for Safety, Fundraising, and Group Decision Making.
